Natural death, loss of organism due to aging, is supplied by birth. The number of organisms increases with birth. Reproduction is a means by which profitable variations are transferred from one generation to another. Hence, reproduction is also helpful in bio-development. On the basis of all these reasons it can be said that reproduction is mandatory for organisms.
