Reproduction is a very important feature of organisms. It is a very important biological process. By which not only helps the survival of organisms, but it also maintains the continuity of the species. It also helps in immortality of reproductive organisms. Natural death, loss of organism due to aging, is supplied by birth. The number of organisms increases with birth. Reproduction is a means by which profitable variations are transferred from one generation to another. Hence, reproduction is also helpful in bio-development. On the basis of all these reasons it can be said that reproduction is mandatory for organisms.
