Victory Campaign
In 1225 Iltutmish launched a campaign against the independent ruler 'Hisamuddin Iwaz' in Bengal. Iwaz accepted to rule under his rule without war, but he revolted again as soon as Iltutmish returned to Delhi.
This time Iltutmish's son Nasiruddin Mahmud almost defeated him in 1226 AD and took control of Lakhnauti.
After two years, after the death of Nasiruddin Mahmud, Malik Ikhtiaruddin Balka Khalji took over the throne of Bengal.
Iltutmish suppressed this rebellion in 1230 AD.
Balka Khalji was killed in the conflict and this time again Bengal came under the Delhi Sultanate.
In 1226 AD, Iltutmish took control over Ranthambore and in 1227 AD, the capital of the Paramaras, Mandore.
In 1231 AD, Iltutmish laid siege to the fort of Gwalior and defeated the ruler Mangaldev.
