National Doctor's Day: 1 July

Like every year, National Medical Day was celebrated on 1 July this year.
Theme- "Lessen the mortality of Covid-19".
National Medical Day was first observed in July 1991, which was celebrated on the death anniversary of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Rai.
This day is celebrated with great pomp every year to thank the doctors and doctors for their service to humanity.

The Uttar Pradesh government launched the "Har Ghar Jal Yojana" under the Piped Project in the Bundelkhand region.
The scheme is a part of the Jal Jeevan Mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The first phase of the project will be completed in 3 districts of Bundelkhand at a cost of Rs 2185 crore.
Under this project, 770 gram panchayats of Mahoba, Lalitpur and Jhansi will have a population of 14 lakhs.
It will take about 2 years to complete its first phase.

Dr. Adisha Das, a well-known poetess living in Bhuneshwar, Odisha, released her fourth book of poems "The Yogini Poems: Love and Life" based on the sixty-four yoginis of Hirapur.
His first non-fictional book on yoginis, "Hirapur's Chausath Yoginis: Tantra to Tantrism" went on to earn the tag of the Amazon bestseller and remained in the top ten for four consecutive months.
This book Chausath Yogini Temple of Hirapur, dating back to 8th / 9th century A.D.
The Yogini is based on the characteristics of temples famous for sculpting the myriad of deities.

The great comedian Carl Reiner died. He also worked in the lifetime films "Oh God (1977)" and "The Jerk (1979)" during his lifetime.
A noted writer, comedian, actor and director, he has also been awarded the Emmys Award as a writing and producer.

"Gudni Johansen" was elected as the President of Iceland for the next 4 years for the 2nd time.
He won 92% of the votes in his presidential election which was the second largest victory in the election of the President of Iceland.
In the year 2016, Goodni Johansen took office as the President of Iceland before he served as Professor of History at the University of Iceland.

The Karnataka State Government has launched a "Skill Connect Forum" portal with the aim of providing help to the youth in finding jobs.

The award was instituted this year by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (MoSPI).

Rainwater harvesting project was successfully established in about 1000 government schools in Vadodara district of Gujarat.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani told through video conferencing that Vadodara has become the first district in the country to set up 1000 rain harvesting projects.
The project has a total cost of Rs 6 crores with a total time of 9 months which will save 10 liters of water from waste.

Foodmaker company "Swiggy" tied up with ICICI Bank to launch its new digital wallet "Swiggy Money".
Swiggy has stated that the main purpose of launching this wallet is to promote the distribution of online money at the time of order.
