Recently, the India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing a video conference at the 'Confederation of Indian Industry' Annual Session - 2020, emphasized the need for 'building a AATM NIRBHAR BHARAT (self-reliant India)'.The Prime Minister said that for 'AATM NIRBHAR BHARAT', more attention needs to be paid to the development of local enterprises. On May 12, 2020, in an address to the nation, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, spoke of making India completely self-reliant. And with the slogan "Local for Vocal", he called upon the people of the country to build a self-reliant India.
Along with this, he announced an economic package of 20 lakh crore rupees for the launch of AATM NIRBHAR BHARAT YOJANA. Which are 10% of the country's total gross domestic product (GDP). Then the Prime Minister said that India should see the COVID-19 pandemic crisis as an opportunity. Also, "Make in India Program" is already running in India under which many schemes are being run successfully.

India's self-reliance will benefit the entire country and every citizen of the country. The first advantage will be that we will not have to depend on other countries for the things we need. Reduction in imports will save foreign exchange. We can also earn more and more foreign exchange by exporting excess commodities. At the time of any disaster or pandemic, we do not have to look to others to fulfill our needs. New business industries will be established in our country due to which people will get employment. If every hand has work, unemployment and poverty will end automatically. There will be an increase in per capita income, which will also improve the economic condition of the people. Improvement in the economic condition of the people means improvement in the economic condition of society and country. Then we will not have to run a separate campaign to end unemployment and poverty. Special attention will be paid to the quality of all the goods produced in the country, which will increase the credibility of our country and goods on the country.

Vibrant Demography - India is the world's largest democracy. And this is also our real strength which will become a source of energy for self-reliant India.
