Rahul Bajaj gives resignation as Chairman of Bajaj Finance

  • Business tycoon Rahul Bajaj announced his resignation as chairman of Bajaj Finance Limited on July 30.

  • Sanjeev Bajaj will replace Rahul Bajaj, the current chairman of Bajaj Finance Limited. Along with this, the appointment of the vice president of the company, Sanjeev Bajaj, as the non-executive chairman will be implemented from August 1.

  • Sanjeev Bajaj is currently the managing director of Bajaj Holding and Investment.

India successfully test-fires anti-tank guided missile

  • Indian Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) successfully test-fired indigenously built anti-tank guided missile "Dhruvastra" to India.

  • The Dhruvastra anti-tank guided missile was successfully test fired at the test range at Chandipur in Odisha. The main goal of creating this anti-tank guided missile is to destroy enemy bunkers, armored vehicles and battle tanks.

  • Dhruvastra anti-tank guided missile systems can be marked from the air.

  • Veteran actor Sonu Sood has launched a mobile application called Pravasi Rojgar to help find employment opportunities for migrant laborers.

  • The online platform launched by Sonu Sood has over five hundred reputed companies associated with healthcare engineering, BPO, security automobiles, e-commerce and logistics centers providing job opportunities.

  • Actor Sonu Sood, who came to the fore to help migrants reach their homes amid the Covid-19 epidemic, was in national headlines.

China Launches First Independent Campaign "Tianwen-1" On Mars

  • "Tiawen-1" successfully launched its 1st independent mission on Mars in China.

  • China launched this mission with the help of "Tiawen-1" Long March-5 rocket.

  • China launched the spacecraft from Wenchang Special Launch Site in Tropical Hainan Province.

  • It has a combined orbital ladder and rover, whose job is to explore the Martian environment and to transport signs of life to Earth.

Arun Kumar becomes the new Vice President of the International Union of Railways

  • The UIC General Assembly elected Arun Kumar as the Vice President of the International Railway Association.

  • Mr. Arun Kumar is a 1985 batch Indian Police Officer who will now take over as the Vice President of the International Railway Association.

  • Sahil Set appointed as the new advisor to the Steering Committee of the BRICS CCI.

  • Currently Sahil Seth is serving as the High Commissioner of Mumbai Customs.

Rewa Gaguli Das appointed Principal Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs

  • Rewa Ganguly Das appointed as former Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

  • Rewa Ganguly Das is currently serving as the High Commissioner of Bangladesh on behalf of India.

  • Rewa Ganguly Das is a 1986 batch Indian Foreign Service officer.

Agreement with IIT Ropar for skill development in Punjab
