The average participation of women in agricultural production is estimated at 55 percent to 66 percent of total labor. Women's participation in dairy production is 94 percent of total employment. In forest-based small-scale enterprises, women constitute 54 percent of the total workforce.

For this, training and skills in related fields will be necessary, this will encourage women for vocational education and employment in these areas. For this it will also be necessary that women should be induced to come to cities and metros for work. It will also be necessary to provide safe accommodation and gender neutral facilities at the workplace.

Governments should facilitate women entrepreneurs to take loans from banks, empower self-help groups, set up skill development centers, form cooperatives.In order to fulfill this objective, reservation and preference can be the best option or medium in all areas in the initial phase. Because in this time of globalization, its chain effect must be automatic. The only need is to change the mindset that a woman can have an active role in economic development.
