Liver | What happen when liver is not in human digestive system?

The liver is an important part of the human body, located on the right side of the stomach and between the rib. The liver mainly performs many functions such as digesting food, removing toxins from the body, transporting blood to other parts of the body, etc. But when the liver is unable to perform any of these functions, then that condition is called liver disease. In addition, there are diseases that affect liver function. Liver diseases are mainly of several types like hepatitis, liver damage, liver inflammation etc.

It is very difficult to ignore the symptoms of liver dis-function and yet we ignore it unknowingly. We know about the causes of liver failure, eating more oil, drinking more alcohol and many other reasons. Although many people know the cause of liver failure, but when liver starts to deteriorate then what changes occur in our body i.e. what are the symptoms, no one knows about it. Those people who think that if they do not drink alcohol, their liver can never go bad, then they are absolutely wrong. Do you know that a bad smell from the mouth can be the symptom of liver failure.

Liver disease occurs due to many reasons, some of them are as follows-

  • Infection - Liver disease can be caused by an infection.

  • Excessive consumption of alcohol- If a person consumes an excessive amount of alcohol, then he is more likely to have liver damage, because alcohol consumption directly affects the liver (cirrhosis).

  • Having a genetic cause- If the person have a family history of liver disease, then that person is more likely to suffer liver disorders.

  • Being overweight- Another reason for liver disease is being overweight. In such a case, the person should keep his weight under control and if the weight has increased enough, he should immediately treat it.

  • Constipation- If a person complains of constipation, then he can get liver disease because it directly affects his digestive system and the liver as well.

  • Diabetes - Liver disease can also happen to a person who has diabetes. In the event of diabetes, insulin is not produced in sufficient quantity in the body, in which case the liver is not able to perform its function properly.

Symptoms

Smell of the mouth- If the liver is not working properly then your mouth will smell dirty. This happens because ammonia leaks more into the mouth.

Digestive system malfunction- improper digestion/ difficulty in digestion.

Dark urine- If your urine or stool starts getting darker every day, the liver is messed up. If this happens only once, it can only be due to lack of water.

Tired eyes and dark circles- Another sign of liver damage is that your skin will start to get damaged and tired. The skin under the eyes is very delicate, on which the effect of your health is clearly visible.

Yellowing of the eyes- If the white part of your eyes starts to look yellow and the nails look yellow then you may have jaundice. This means that your liver is infected.

White spots on the skin- If the color of your skin is blown out and white spots start appearing on it, we will call it as the liver spot.

Inflammation of the stomach- When the liver becomes enlarged, there is swelling in the stomach, which we often forget to consider as obesity.

Unpleasant Taste- The liver produces a fermentive enzyme called bile which is very bad in taste. If your mouth feels bitter, it means that the bile is then reaching your mouth.
