Sequence of sphincters in the digestive system from top to bottom
The sphincters found in the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus are as follows upper oesophageal sphincters---->lower oesophageal sphincters----->pyloric sphincters---->illio-caecal valve---->internal sphincters of anus---->external sphincters of anus.
The various locations of the sphincters are shown in the diagram
Sphincter of Oddi prevents release of pancreatic juice and bile juice into small intestine through ducts.
